At the Races

As Royal Ascot is taking place at the moment, here a flashback to an exhibit I curated at Baden-Baden during the so called Grosse Woche, showing the sculptures and paintings by the Egyptian-born and Yorkshire based artist Sam Shendi.

The second to last photo shows the artist together with the granddaughter of Franz Liszt.

The last photo shows the owner of race track, Dr Andreas Jacob’s of the Jacob’s coffee dynasty next to Sam and his artworks.
